BRC is able to bring lightly damaged alloy wheels back to their original condition with our alloy wheel refurbishment service in St Albans, Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City. Whether they’ve been kerbed or have minor cosmetic damage, such as pitting and scratches, we are equipped to deal with it.
We can also repaint your alloys to a colour of your choice if you fancy a change, or to match to your existing manufacturer paint finish. With a range of full lacquered finishes available.
Stage 1
Alloy wheel refurbishment involves removing the tyre from the wheel to allow full access to the damage and then cleaning it to remove any traces of wax or silicon.
Stage 2
The damaged area is carefully repaired using a mixture of sanding and build up of specific metal fillers to restore the wheel’s original profile.
Stage 3
Once sanding is complete the wheel is painted and then lacquered to ensure the finish is protected. Finally the tyre is replaced carefully, the wheel balanced and then fitted back on the vehicle.
